International Key Account Manager

Job description

You will be responsible for the international sales activities with suppliers, distributors and pure players.
The following tasks are a core part of this job:

  • as International Key Account Manager, you will represent the company and maintain contacts with the client. You will promote the company to clients and operate as an intermediary between the company and the client. You will interpret the Eltra strategy for the clients.
  • You will achieve a range of objectives in terms of quality and quantity, such as preparing an account plan, sales and margin budgets, etc.
  • You will collect structured market information (on clients and competitors) and be constantly developing initiatives relating to building up market share.
  • You will build up and maintain links at different hierarchical levels with retailers and distributors as pure players.
  • You will pursue both the quantitative and qualitative objectives of your clients via business reviews and will communicate proactively within the company.
  • You will analyse and discuss clients’ needs and problems, quickly define their wishes and introduce correct and customer-focused solutions.
  • You will be responsible for sales and margins within your geographical area and market segments.
  • You will report in a proactive and structured manner to the sales manager.

WE are looking for someone who

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum with practical experience in a sales environment
  • Has an affinity with technology
  • Has international experience
  • Is adept at communicating smoothly and constructively with internal and external clients
  • Is a born networker
  • Is focused on objectives and results and is able at the same time to adopt a customer-driven approach and build up a good relationship.
  • Is self-sufficient, assertive and works proactively
  • Is willing to travel within Europe for at least 40% of the time.
  • This person must be trilingual in Dutch, French and English. An extra language is an advantage.
