In 1995, Eltra was taken over by
Sonepar. This French electrical wholesale group was set up in 1969 by Henri Coisne and is still owned by the Coisne family. Even after the recent sale of Hagemeyer, which was split between Sonepar and Rexel, Sonepar remains the largest electrical wholesale group in the world
ELTRA DIYeuronet
The Dutch company ELTRA DIYeuronet BV has around 40 years’ experience in the sale of electro-technical and lighting products. In 2001 ELTRA DIYeuronet, then still Elar BV, became a part of Eltra. Again in that year, the company joined DIY-euronet. ELTRA DIYeuronet has a staff of 45.
